Supported Living (18+)

CQC-regulated supported living for adults aged 18 and over across Bedfordshire and Luton. Specialist support for mental health needs, learning disabilities, dual diagnosis, and complex life experiences — promoting independence and community integration.

Independent Living With the Right Support

Supported living enables adults with complex needs to live in their own tenancy — with personalised support from a trained team — rather than in a residential care setting. The individual holds their own tenancy agreement, giving them legal security of home and greater autonomy over their life.

At Lamora Healthcare, our supported living service is led by our Registered Mental Health Nurse — bringing specialist expertise in mental health, dual diagnosis, and complex behavioural presentations that many supported living providers lack. We operate across Bedfordshire and Luton, working closely with local authority commissioning teams.

Specialist Supported Living Across These Needs

Mental Health

Adults with complex or long-term mental health conditions — schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, personality disorder, and treatment-resistant presentations — supported to live independently with structured daily input.

Learning Disabilities

Adults with mild, moderate, or complex learning disabilities — supported to develop independence, engage with community, and manage daily life with the right level of structured assistance.

Dual Diagnosis

Individuals presenting with co-occurring mental health conditions and substance misuse — requiring an integrated, specialist approach that addresses both presentations simultaneously.

Community Transitions

Adults moving from hospital, inpatient psychiatric settings, or residential care into supported living — with a structured transition plan and step-down support package.

Autism (18+)

Adults with autism spectrum conditions, including those with associated mental health needs or complex communication requirements — support structured around the individual's preferences and sensory needs.

Complex Life Experiences

Adults with complex and often overlapping life experiences — trauma, homelessness, offending history, or care system involvement — who need consistent, non-judgemental structured support.
